  3. Step # 1 • Measure your Carbon Footprint; you can use the tool we provide: • http://www.seattlegov/climate/docs/CO2_Tool_2.1.xls • We can help you or you can engage the Resource Venture or other consultants • This is a necessary 1st step in order to establish your baseline

  4. Step # 2 • Make your plan to take steps to reduce the footprint • There are public and private agencies that can help in these areas • Energy • Materials (especially paper) • Waste • Water • Transportation

  5. Step # 3 • Tell your story • Display your progress • Report your success

  6. Step # 4 • Grow & Strengthen the Partnership • Your tenants • Your colleagues • Your industry

  7. Benefits to Members • Tools • Facilitated access to government financing and rebate programs • Recognition • Workshops

Back to paper • We encourage you to join the Seattle Climate Partnership, and help establish the baseline • While there are other environmental issues that are law firms can address • Energy, transportation, other waste issues • We recognize that paper and paper use is a major issue and we encourage you to work with the Resources Venture to reduce your firm’s paper use!
