  3. Location • South of Maryland • North of Virginia • 67 square miles divided into quadrants with US Capitol Building in the center Northwest Northeast Southwest Southeast

  4. How to Get There Driving time 18 hours, 20 minutes Flying time 3 hours, 30 minutes

  5. DC Statistics • Population 572,000 – about the same as Halifax. • Male 47% and Female 53%. • White people 31%, Black people 60%, and Hispanic people 8%.

  8. Conclusion I picked this topic because I had such a good time visiting my friend Ryan who moved there. I enjoyed seeing Ryan and attending an NHL and NFL game.
