The Blood of Jesus 7 Things the Blood of Jesus does for us. • Freed from the power of the devil (Eph.1:7; Heb.9:12) • Our sins are forgiven – if we confess them (1 Jn.1:7-9) • We are put right with God (Rom.5:9; 2 Cor.5:21) • Access into the presence of God (Heb.10:19-20) • We are made holy (Heb.13:12) • Our consciences are clear and we have no guilt (Heb.9:14; 2 Tim.1:7) • Given power over the devil (Rev.12:11)

  2. How the Blood of Jesus Affects our daily lives • Victory over rebellion (Lk.22:42) • Breaking of all curses(Gen.3:18; Matt.27:29) • Healing of body, mind & spirit (Is.53:5) • Saves us from the full wrath of God (Rom.8:1-2; Eph.2:8-13)

Summary & Application • The blood of Jesus is sufficient to pay the price to ransom us from the consequences of sin and it has paved the way for us to be in a relationship with God again. • The blood of Jesus purifies us from every sin if we walk in the light with God and confess our sin. • The blood of Jesus only needed to be shed once because He was the perfect sacrifice and so acceptable to God once and for all. • The blood of Jesus is effective for our daily lives and enables us to serve God fruitfully, with a clear conscience, and with the peace of God ruling in our hearts. • The blood of Jesus enables us to have wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
