  2. RHIC startup: • Completed last week: • Shielding installation • RHIC roll ups • AtR ACS re-certification • This week: • Completed AtR re-start (beam to W dump). • Complete RHIC re-certification • 4k cool-down • Cold Magnet & power supply checkout

  3. This weeks schedule: • Today: • Restricted Access in all areas of RHIC • Spin flipper DC testing in the 9 o’clock area • RF setup in the afternoon • Some ACS tests (momentary interrupts?)

  4. Schedule Wednesday 1/5 • RHIC ring on RA all day • RF dipole install at 9 o’clock • OPPIS maintenance • Run injectors on alternate source • NO injector access planned at this time • Restore OPPIS injection in the afternoon

  5. Thursday 1/6/11 • RHIC on RA all day • RF testing in the afternoon • RSC checklist items completed • All RHIC areas prepped for Beam activity

  6. Friday 1/7/11 • Sweeps start if Blue ring ready for beam (determined Thursday night) • First areas swept starting at 0800hrs • 2 and 12 IRs last ring areas swept (STAR and PHENIX stay on RA) • Test current limit key after sweeps completed • Sweep experiments after test, begin beam work in evening
