Transaction • Booking Transaction • Making a reservation at a hotel, resort, restaurant, or travel company. • Service Transaction • The actual time during which services are needed. • Sales Transaction • The process in which the customer or guest pays for products and services that are rendered.

Sales Transaction • Prepay Transaction • A sales transaction in which a guest, customer, or passenger makes full payment before receiving products or services. • Postpay Transaction • A sales transaction that occurs after a guest or customer receives products or services. • After-departure Transaction • A postpay transaction that requires billing after a guest or customer departs from the facility.

  14. 全球分銷系統 • 將航空電腦訂位系統（Computerlized Reservation System, CRS）發展成全球旅遊產品通路的全球分銷系統（ Global Distribution System, GDS）。 • GDS系統供應商提供一個網路平台，由旅遊產品供應業者透過後台設定產品銷售，讓全球的旅遊代理商或散客(旅遊網站)可以直接利用此平台進行交易。 • 效益 • 提昇飯店形象 • 吸收國外客源 • 有效開展國際市場 • 增加國際曝光機會
