  4. 2 Corinthians • A.D. 53 – Wrote 2 Corinthians from Macedonia • Epistle of Weakness (12:7-10) • Chapters 1-9 are positive • Chapters 10-13 are negative • Perhaps focus on different sections of the same church

  5. Arrived in Greece (2) • Rift between Paul and Corinthian church had healed • Here Greece = Achaia = Corinth • During these 3 months in A.D. 54 he wrote Romans.

  15. Heading Home • Paul sailed past Ephesus, because he was in a hurry to get to Jerusalem by Pentecost. (16)

  16. Farewell to Ephesian Elders • Met in Miletus – 30 miles from Ephesus • Only speech to Christians in Acts • Elders/Overseers/Shepherds – 20:17, 28-29; cf. 1 Peter 5:1-2
