  1. Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil – The Slideshow This slideshow presentation is provided as a resource to Dungeon Masters running Monte Cook’s Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. It contains all of the in-module artwork, as well as a couple of maps and diagrams. One of the greatest DM frustrations is being able to “set the scene” well for an encounter. This module contains absolutely gorgeous artwork, and without trying to cover up pages, it’s nearly impossible to show it to the players. DMs who are fortunate enough to have a laptop, PC, or other means of presenting this slideshow presentation now have that option. In no way do I wish to take away from the WONDERFUL work and effort on the part of Monte Cook, Wizards of the Coast, or the fine artists who created this artwork and these maps: Art Director Dawn Murin, Graphic Design: Sean Glenn and Robert Campbell, Cover Illustration: Brom, Interior Illustrations: David Roach and Cartography: Todd Gamble. A few minor changes to the original artwork should be noted. The Hommlet Map has had the numbers removed, and the Hommlet Region Map has had Rastor removed (it’s a small enough town that it’s unlikely to show up on a player’s map of the area). The door/arrow slit error on the Moathouse picture has been corrected. The Black Obelist has had labels removed, and has a top and bottom display. Most significant (and difficult) of all…the Chamber of Hate has had it’s occupant removed in one of the two slides. Finally, the Unholy Symbols at the end are my own work. Good luck. Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil is a long and difficult module. Please check in at www.montecook.com and check the message boards…there’s a great group of DMs there ready to help you out. And look for Andorax when you get there…that’s me. Bob Cooper
