  2. In Religious Education I am learning about Journaling.This helps me to reflect on my thoughts and feelings and lets me talk to God.

  3. I have been getting better at showing that I am Jesus’ example of LOVE when I display Enthusiasm by looking forward to my learning, even when it is hard.

  4. READING • Term 1 Reading level: 7.5-8.5years • In Reading I am learning about self-monitoring. • I do this by re-reading when I come to a word or sentence that doesn’t make sense and by asking questions when I don’t understand something.

  5. WRITING • Term 1 Writing level: 1iii • In Writing I am learning to use language features to add impact. • I do this by using speech and similes. I have used these in my acrostic poem about me.

  6. NUMERACY • Term 1 Numeracy stage: 5p (progressing) • In Numeracy I am learning about place value using place value houses. • I do this by using commas in big numbers so that I know what numbers are in which place value house. This helps me read, write and understand large numbers.

  7. Term 1 Basic Facts Stage: 4/5 Addition 100% Subtraction 80% Multiplication 90% Division 40% • I am learning to have instant recall of my basic facts. • I do this by practising all my basic facts at home and at school and by learning my family of facts.

  8. I am most proud of my Key Competency poster because my group did very well working on it and we tried to think out of the box to produce a creative poster.

  9. Some of the tools I use to help me in my learning are: • Talking Buddies because I can bounce ideas off them and they give me feedback. • Learning Intentions because they tell me what I am learning.

  10. Service/leadership opportunities I am involved in are: • Sports Co-ordinator • School Lost Property • Classroom Pack Up Duties
