  2. Why do we go to Dauphin Island? • Dauphin Island is for a learning experience. Some of it is for social studies the other is science. • Dauphin Island is very hands on. The instructors are very nice. They show not tell.

  3. The Salt Marsh!! • The salt marsh is sort of like a swamp. We caught : fettler crabs, small fish, shrimp, blue crabs, and flounder. After we talked about what we caught.

  4. The Esuarium • The esuarium is like an aquarium but small. • They had many fish the you would see in the bay or the ocean.

  6. Touch Squid!! • We got to touch and hold a lot of animals. Like sea cucumber, octopus, and many more. • Then we got to dissect squids. We learned all the parts. We also got to eat calamari. That is fried squid!!
