  3. About Thailand • Education • The adult literacy rate of Thailand in 2004 is 95.7 per cent • The average years of education attainment for the population aged over 15 years was 8.1 in 2004

  5. About Thailand • Working • Each year about 800,000 people join the labor force, with a literacy rate above 90 percent • The minimum wage in Thailand is currently 175 baht per day (about US$4.00) in Bangkok, and between 133-170 baht in other provinces. 4550 / month /110 US$
