Products • IMPEC is supplier of Rodding Shops and other products for the Aluminium Industry • IMPEC has done modifications with full capacity in existing rodding shop • We can offer all equipments used in modern rodding shop • Own in house engineering • Supplier of equipment for electrolysis • Specialists in aluminium welding (bus bars, transitions joints, steel – copper, etc)

  4. Rod/yoke straightening • Automatically straightens all bent rods. • Ensures correct angle between yoke and rod. • Special couplings to prevent leakage from cylinders.

  5. Rod Grinding • To improve the surface finish • Removes spikes, marks and scratches • Increases current efficiency • Can brush one or two sides • Delivered with collector and suction • Easy to install in existing plant • References: • Hydro Aluminium - Norway • Slovalco - Slovakia

  7. Induction heating Stub hole dryer. Induction heater coil inserted in stub hole. Maximum power efficiency. Stub hole sprayed with water Heating for 30 sek with 70kW

  8. Tumblers • IMPEC delivers tumbler systems to the rodding shop • Thimble tumbler • Clean the remains of carbon and bath from the thimbles • Flexible loading and unloading of thimbles • The cleaning process is done by batches • References: Kubal - Sweden

Stub straightening Unique design that: • Straighten stubs without applying any force to the yoke / spider • Same machine can be used for different stub size • Same design for all kind of yoke / spider configurations • Standardized components • Straighten pins with diameter190mm and length of 250mm. • Equipped with silent induction heater and vision system for accurate straightening of individual stubs
