  1. CPPM Upgrade - version 7.04from Access 97 to Access 2007/2010 format Information: CPPM has been upgraded to use Microsoft Access 2007/2010 as the application software. The current version uses Access 97, and in order to be compatible with the software installed on user computers, the upgrade is being made. The functionality of CPPM has not been modified. The only change that has occurred is the move to a newer software version. Please review the following slides for installation instructions and general information regarding the upgrade.

  2. Checking Your Access VersionNote: If you have Access 2003 or a trial version of Access, please go to slide 12 for installation instructions. Windows 7 1. Click on the “Start”Orb 2. Click on “All Programs” 3. Click on “Microsoft Office” You will see a list of Microsoft Office Programs installed on your computer with the version beside it (2003, 2007, or 2010). 4. Open Access and make sure it opens without any issues. Some users may only have a trial version, and if that is the case, go to slide 12. Windows XP 1. Click on “Start” 2. Click on “Programs” 3. Click on “Microsoft Office” You will see a list of Microsoft Office Programs installed on your computer with the version beside it (2003, 2007, 2010). 4. Open Access and make sure it opens without any issues. Some users may only have a trial version, and if that is the case, go to slide 12.

Installation Steps Note: If you receive different pop ups than the below, go to slide 3. • Open the URL: http://updates.enercon.com/cppm/2007/and click on “Download CPPM”. • Click on “Run” to run the installation update. • One of the below pop ups will open depending on your computer in regards to an unknown publisher. Click on “Run” or “Yes” to continue. • Click on “OK” to complete the installation.

Installation Steps (alternative) Note: Please skip this slide if you’ve completed the installation using slide 2. • Open the URL: http://updates.enercon.com/cppm/2007/and click on “Download CPPM”. Click on Actions. • Click on the “More Options” drop down. • Click on “Run anyway” to continue. • Click on “OK” to complete the installation.

Opening CPPM after installation Microsoft Office Configuration Installer • After the installation completes, you will have the “CPPM_2007” shortcut on your desktop that you will use to open CPPM. Note: If you are missing the shortcut, go to C:\CPPM and copy the CPPM_2007 shortcut to your desktop. • The first time you open the upgraded version of CPPM, Microsoft Office will automatically run a quick installation to configure Access 2007/2010 since Access 97 was previously used. The installation will only run one time unless you use continue to use both Access 97 and Access 2007/2010. After the configuration is updated, CPPM will open. • Click on “Yes” if prompted by Windows User Account Control to open Access. Microsoft Office Access

  6. CPPM ToolbarMenu and Export Toolbars • To the right is the CPPM Main Menu form, which has not been modified. • The only change you will see in CPPM is the toolbar. The CPPM Toolbar has a icons that will allow you to do the following: • Export to PDF • Close the form window • Export to Excel • Export to Word • Print • Print Preview Close • **Note: The last on the toolbar is the print preview close button that will only show when a report is opened. Export to PDF CloseForm Export to Excel/Word Print Print Preview Close (will only show when a report is open)

  7. Toolbar Reference • When you open a report in CPPM, the Print Preview Close “X” will appear. After you’ve printed or saved the report, you will click on the “Print Preview Close X” to exit the report and return to the previous form. Note: the first X closes forms and will not close the reports. • When you open a form that does not have a “Close” button, you can click on the “Close” command from the menu bar. This is the same as the “x” in a window. • If you do not see the full CPPM toolbar, click on the drop down arrow that is above or below the toolbar and uncheck “minimize toolbar” by clicking on it. uncheck

  9. Missing Scroll Bars Reference A • If you are missing scroll bars or other boxes such leave time on the timesheet form (A), your display resolution needs to be adjusted. Once adjusted, you should see all form data (B). • To adjust display settings, see slide 9. Note: Each monitor is different, so you may have to make a few changes in order to see all data.   10. Adjusting Display Settings – Windows 7 (if needed) To adjust display settings: • Click on Start, Control Panel, Display. If you have your text size set to Larger or Medium, change it to “Smaller” and then click “apply”. You’ll have to log off and log back on for the settings to be changed. • If that does not resolve the issue, click on Start, Control Panel, Display, Screen Resolution and change the resolution size to a higher resolution. You can test different resolution sizes to see what works for your monitor.

  11. Adjusting Display Settings – Windows XP (if needed) To adjust display settings: • DPI Adjustment: Click on the “Settings” tab. Click on “Advanced” and make sure the DPI Settings are set to Normal Size (96 DPI). If not, change it to Normal. Click “apply” and “ok” in the monitor and then log into CPPM to see if that resolved the issue. • Font Size Adjustment: If the above changes did not work, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display. Click on the “Appearance” tab. If you have your text size set to Large or Extra Large, change it to “Normal” and then click “apply” and “ok”. You’ll have to log off and log back on for the settings to be changed. • Resolution Adjustment: If that does not resolve the issue, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display. Click on the “Settings” tab. Change the screen resolution size to a higher resolution (towards “more”). Click “apply” and “ok” in the monitor settings and then the settings tab. You can test different resolution sizes to see what works for your monitor. You’ll have to log off and log back on for the settings to be changed. 1. 3. 2. 1. 2. 1. 3. 2.

Access 2003 Users OnlyInstallation Guide Based on slide 2, if you have Access 2003, please go to http://updates.enercon.com/cppm/runtime/ • Click on “Runtime Installation” to install the runtime version of Access 2007. Follow the instructions as prompted during the installation. • After installing the runtime version, click on “Download CPPM”. Once it’s been downloaded, a shortcut called “CPPM_2007” will be placed on your desktop. If you do not have the shortcut added, go to your C:\CPPM folder and copy the CPPM_2007 shortcut to your desktop or create one by right clicking on the CPPM_2007.accdr file, choosing “create shortcut”. Note: You may receive different pop ups when running the file. You can refer to slide 3 and 4 as reference for the various pop ups that may be shown. #2 #1
