  4. THE JUDGEMENT Memory Verse: Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” BIBLE PASSAGE:Revelations 20:4-15 INTRODUCTION: Judgment is imminent. Whether we believe it or not, we are going to give account of all that we do here on earth, whether it be good or bad, righteous or wicked. We will all appear before the One whom God has appointed to judge all, Jesus Christ.

Outline 1: • TYPES OF JUDGEMENT • The Bible speaks of at least seven different judgments: • The Saviour on the cross being judged for our sins. • The believer’s self-judgment - 1 Corinthians 11:31, 2 Corinthians 13:5. • The judgment of believer’s works – Romans 14:10, 1 Corinthians 5:10-11. • The judgment of Israel during the Great Tribulation – Ezekiel 20:30-44. • The judgment of nations when sheep will be separated from goats at the second coming of Christ – Matthew 25:31-46. THE JUDGEMENT

THE JUDGEMENT • Outline 1: • TYPES OF JUDGEMENT • The Bible speaks of at least seven different judgments: • The judgment of the fallen angels reserved in darkness waiting – Jude 6:7, 2 Peter 2:4. • The judgment of the wicked dead – Revelations 20:11-12, Revelations 20:15, Acts 17:21, Romans 2:16.

Outline 2: • THE CRUCIAL JUDGEMENTS • These are the two major final judgments for both believers and unbelievers: • following set of people shall be raptured: • The Judgment Seat of Christ • This is the judgment of believers where each person’s work will be tested with fire - 1 Corinthians 3:13. Also, to be tested are: our words, our thoughts, our secret, our motives. This judgment will take place after the rapture – Matthew 16:27, Matthew 12:36-37, Matthew 15:19-20, Romans 2:16, 2 Corinthians 5:14. THE JUDGEMENT

  9. THE JUDGEMENT • Outline 2: • THE CRUCIAL JUDGEMENTS • b. The Great White Throne Judgment • This is the judgment of the wicked. The sinners and all that reject Jesus Christ and the fallen angels. They will be judged according to their works as recorded in the book of life. It is going to be an impartial and open judgment – Revelations 20:5, Revelations 20:11-15, Matthew 7:21-23.

  10. THE JUDGEMENT • CONCLUSION • Where will you appear? It is a crucial decision. Judgment Seat of Christ or the Great White Judgment. The choice is yours.
