  2. In a normal day or week . . . What kind of things do I listen to? What things do I say or sing with my lips?

  5. Verse of the Lesson: • “And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma” • -- Ephesians 5:2

St. Tekla • When she was 18 years old, her parents made her get engaged to a popular boy • After hearing St. Paul talk about Jesus our Saviour, she made a decision not to get married so that she could offer her whole life to Him by preaching the Gospel. • Her mom & fiance got upset and told the ruler she was a Christian!

  8. The ruler sentenced her to death… But . . . God sent a storm to quench the fire…

  9. Another ruler threw her to wild beasts! But… God protected her from the wild beasts 3 times!!!

  10. Many people saw and became Christians!

  11. St. Tekla went to live in a cave and continued, preaching the Gospel and healing many sick people…

In a normal day, how can I offer my life to God? • With my EARS, I will listen to and obey the Word of God (the Bible), my parents & abouna! • I will also listen only to good words and music that praises God! With my LIPS, I will praise my Lord Jesus Christ and tell people about how wonderful He is!

  14. In a normal day, how can I offer myself to God? With my EYES, I will make sure to read the Word of God & look only at good things! With my HANDS, I will help others and let others see how wonderful Jesus is through the things I draw or build!

  15. In a normal day, how can I offer myself to God? With my TIME, I will make sure to pray and do the things our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us to do: e.g. - help mom, dad, sister/brother, friends, others… - visit sick people, help poor people, . . .
