  3. Athletic Physical Athletes must have an annual physical on file prior to participation All completed forms can be turned into Coach Bentley. ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE COMPLETED AND TURNED IN PRIOR TO FIRST DAY OF TRTOUTS!

  4. Tryout Dates and TimesMust be present ALL days Girls Boys Dates January 8th -10th Time 7:15-8:45 AM Dates January 8th and 9th Times 4:30-6:30 PM

  5. No Pass – No Play • Academics are a priority and it is the responsibility of the athlete to stay on top of their grades. • A sixth, seventh or eighth grade student must have earned at least a 2.0 grade point average on 4.0 unweighted scale the previous semester. (FHSAA Bylaw 9.4) • Player cannot have a Level 4 this year in regards to discipline.

  6. Tryout Out and Team Selection Evaluators for the tryouts will be Bridgewater Coaches Parents are not allowed to in the gym during tryouts. Selections will be made on player’s abilities, availability (commitment), skills/drills testing, and scrimmage performance during the try-outs. 12-13 player roster

  7. Tryout Out and Team Selection Continue….. Important subjective characteristics: • Determination & Competitiveness • Work ethic & Coachability • Experience • Positive Attitude & Appearance • Reliability & Dependability • Poise & self control • Loyalty & Integrity • Important Physical Characteristics: • Quickness and speed • Size and jumping ability • Shooting • Inside Presence • Passing Level • Dribbling/Ball Handling • Offensive Rebounding Ability • Defensive Skills • Def Rebounding Ability • Conditioning
