SPE Requirements for CertificationCertification is a voluntary add-on and not automatic with SPE membership • SPE member in good standing • Undergraduate degree - engineering, science or technology (accredited university) • 4-years hands-on engineering experience • Complete comprehensive exam • Accept SPE’s Guide to Professional Conduct • Participate in 16 hours continuing education annually
