  4. Grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions • One of the world’s most well-known charities • Make-A-Wish Foundation

  5. Collect Donations forMake a Wish Foundation • Table in Palms Quad • Collect any sort of money people had on them • They could make a wish when giving money

  6. This organization helps those that deal with housing crises • 225,000 houses have been built • Habitat for Humanity

  7. MLK Build • January 15, 2007 • Build in Memory of MLK • Location: 815 Nardo Street

  8. Me with the hammer and nails trying to be useful on site.

  9. I am about to climb the latter to nail security hooks on the top of the wall.

  10. Big Shanty Intermediate School • Helped raise money for the schools PTA by working the carnival

  11. This is me after I popped all this popcorn for the carnival!

  12. Selling Drinks!

  13. Me doing my job getting drinks for the people at the carnival. Hillary doing a wonderful job being happy as always while getting drinks for others.

  14. Would I do it again? Fun + Feeling Good + Helping Others + Meeting Wonderful People = Of Course I Would Help The Community Again

  15. Thoughts on Community Service • Service learning makes one feel like a better person. • It helps others that are worse off than ourselves. • It is also a very fun activity to get involved with.
