  5. Route of Flight • Prepare a cross country DD-175 & Jet Log from Houston Ellington Field, TX (EFD) to Randolph AFB, TX (RND) at night, route & arrival are up to you. Choose an alternate airfield based on attached DD-175-1 & NOTAM information.

  6. CNATRAINST 1542.159 Review: • a. Complete DD 175 with single-engine jet log • b. Instrument communications • c. ATC clearance • d. ITO/departure/SID/climb schedule • e. Lost communications • f. In-flight emergencies • g. Route/destination change • h. Point-to-point • i. TACAN/VOR DME holding • j. TACAN/VOR DME approach • k. Enroute descent • l. PAR approach • m. ILS approach • n. Partial panel approach(es) • o. Circling approach to land ***NOTE: Should be flown at night.

STANDARD DEBRIEFING FORMAT • The Flight Lead or Pilot-in-Command is responsible for ensuring all flight or crewmembers are thoroughly debriefed on the conduct of the mission utilizing the “S-P-B-E-MS-LL” format outlined below. (Refer to the CTW-1/CTW-2 Expanding Debriefing Guide for specific objectives). • Safety • Planning • Brief • Execution • Mission Success • Lessons Learned
