  1. Evolution of Drinking Water Quality and its Filtration Process in India

  2. Evolution of Drinking Water Quality • Earlier, there was a lack of proper facilities related to quality drinking water. The number of waterborne diseases was high. As there was no alternative, people had no other alternative except drinking and using the contaminated water for domestic purposes. Also, drinking contaminated water resulted in a large number of deaths. • Though the home-based water filtration process in the form of boiling water was adopted, it was not totally a success. Slowly, with time; a Drinking water filter got introduced in the market which proved to be a boon. The purified form of water was not only popular for domestic purposes but also helpful in increasing the longevity of appliances. • The rise of need for purified water is increasing at a fast pace. That is why the demand for water filters is also evolving. Are you interested to know about the history that is associated with the water filtration process in India? • Yes! Here it is……

  3. Water Purification Took Place through Experiments • The population expansion and their lifestyle are resulting in an increase in the rate of pollution that finally started making water contaminated. Not only human waste, but wastes from factories started getting accumulated in water bodies. • People started falling ill due to the spreading of a wide number of diseases. The awareness among people led to the demand for pure water. Though it took time, slowly people started recognizing the importance associated with water purifiers. • Earlier, practices mentioned in Sanskrit and Egyptian documents were utilized for purifying water. They were included of: • Boiling of water • Heating water under the sun • Filtering water through coarse and sand gravel • The pioneers of modern medical science used to conduct the task of water purification by carrying out experiments with the help of certain water treatment devices. It started with the design of a crude water filter that resulted in the further evolution of purification processes.

  4. More Number of Contaminants Discovered • Scientists came out with several evolutions related to the technology of water filtration. Some exclusive methods of water filtration that evolved include the following: • Chlorination — It refers to the process of adding chlorine to water for killing microorganisms. It was ineffective to kill certain protozoa. so, the water filtration needed improvement. • Use of charcoal — In this method, chlorine and other pollutants are absorbed by the charcoal. The carbon filters that are used in households today are inclusive of a lining of activated silver. It helps in the easy killing of harmful bacteria. • Using of bio-sand filter — The use of the bio-sand filter is helpful in the removal of pathogens and suspended solid wastes from water. Water is poured from the top portion of the filter. The filtrated water is finally stored in a container. • Application of ultraviolet filters — In an ultraviolet filter, the water is passed through a UV light that kills the bacteria and microbes. Almost ninety-nine percent of pesticides and pathogens get removed through this method. But it is not suitable for removing suspended impurities. • Use of reverse osmosis filter — The use of reverse osmosis filters has been recognized to offer filtration in the form of multi-staging. It combines active carbon particle filtration for purifying water. The water passes through a polymer film to weeding out minerals and micro-organisms. It also improves the taste of water.

  5. Why Kitz Micro Filters, Japan? • The use of water purifiers manufactured by top brands will be a good decision AND Kitz Micro Filters, Japan is one of them. During manufacturing, Kitz Micro Filters, Japan, uses superb quality parts followed by the inclusion of decent purification technologies. • The price is also reasonable to make water filters available in almost every house. As the water will pass through the purified, the impurities will get removed. Finally, the water obtained will be fit for consumption. • It will be beneficial for people belonging to all age groups. The installation of a water purifier is an economical choice as you need not buy packaged drinking water frequently.
