  2. INTRODUCTION • In Groups of 4, students play the role of young environmentalists and aim to create awareness that kitchen garbage can help to save Mother Earth and through routine daily activities at home, we can reduce global warming and protect the ozone layer.

  4. GOAL, ROLE & AUDIENCE You are the Young Environmentalists of Kolej TDTHB Miri. You realize the problems our Mother Earth is facing on global warming and the depletion of our ozone layer. Yourtaskis to create awareness that kitchen garbage can help resolve part of these problems and share your findings with your friends, parents and society.

  5. SET OF TASKS & PRODUCTS • Research on garbage enzymes • Conduct an interview and write out the interview/dialogue • Present findings based on your research • Show how garbage enzyme is made (Powerpoint/Toondoo) • Make the enzymes • Create a pamphlet on garbage enzyme • Create a product using the enzyme and promote it • Plan an additional activity on garbage enzymes (freedom of choice given) • Report on overall project/making of enzyme • Test the product with the help of parents & record feedback

Your First Task: Interview • Prepare questions for the interview – must answer all the ‘Wh” questions • Identify one person who knows about • garbage enzymes and uses it. • * Conduct an interview • * Observe a demo on making • enzyme (record/video) • * Prepare your own enzymes • Write out the interview dialogue

  7. Your Second Task: PAMPHLET • Based on your research and interview, plan and create a pamphlet on garbage enzyme • Info must answer all relevant ‘Wh’ questions – what, why, how, ……. • Include urls/references • Acknowledgement • Present your pamphlet

  8. Your Third Task: Advertisements • Do some research and look at • advertisements • Plan and create a ‘new’ product which • contains garbage enzyme • Create the advertisement for your • new product • Promote your product - advertisement • in motion ~ A Role Play • Present your Role Play
