  2. Introduction Chimpanzees are very smart. They know how to make and use tools. In fact they are the animal closest to a human. Chimps are also very easy to teach. Some are even taught sign language.

  3. Where Chimps Live • Chimpanzees live in 21 different African countries. Including Senegal, Cameroon, Mali, Ghana, and Cote D’Ivoire. Also including Gabon, Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Guinea, Nigeria, Rwanda, Liberia, Kenya, and Chad. They also live in Sierra, Leon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central Africa Republic, Equatorial Guinea. Chimps are very common in Africa.

  4. What Chimps Eat • Chimpanzees are omnivores which mean they eat plants and meat. Their main diet is plants and nuts. They only sometimes eat meat.

  5. What chimps look like • All chimps are about 4 foot tall. Males are about 90-120 lbs. Females are about 60-90 lbs. They have black fur and pinkish noses.
