  2. Los Angeles Lakers The Los Angeles Lakers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles, California. They play in the pacific division of the western conference in the national basketball association. The Lakers play their home games at staples center, which they share with the rivals, the los Angeles clippers, los Angeles kings of the NHL, and the los Angeles sparks of the WNBA. The Lakers are one of the most successful teams in the history of the NBA, and have won 16 champions, their last being in 2010.

  3. Kobe Bryant Kobe Bryant (born august 23, 1978) is an American professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the national basketball association. He decided to declare his eligibility for the NBA draft upon graduation, and was selected with the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft by Charlotte , then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

  4. Pau Gasol Pau Gasol (born July 6, 1980) is a Spanish professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the national basketball association. Gasol was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2001 NBA draft, but his rights were traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, with whom he won the NBA rookie of the year award. After seven seasons with the team, Gasol was traded to the Lakers on February 1, 2008.
