Understanding this is crucial for policy makers and strategists, as their aim is to take decisions that will impact the future. The organisation • GNKS Consult is an independent private company, registered under number 24396166 at the Rotterdam Chamber of Commerce since May 2006 • GNKS is conducting research and consultancy on its own, and in partnership with appropriate partners, depending on the challenge. It has partnership arrangements with the Danish Technology Institute (Aarhus, DK) and RAND Europe (Cambridge, UK) • Maarten Botterman is currently the sole employee. He is associated with a set of world class policy researchers, including those explicitly listed on the website Confidential

Associates • James Kahan: behavioural scientist, psychologist with more than 20 years experience as policy analyst and policy evaluation, foresight, living in Oregon • Jonathan Cave: economist, game theorist, policy analyst with more than 20 years experience, also professor at Warwick University and a long track record in GNKS issues • Tora Bikson: behavioural scientist, and multidisciplinairy researcher with a 20 year + global track record and a home in Santa Monica.
