A review will ensure the role is being done as effectively and efficiently as possible, giving the CEO the opportunity to correct any issues real or perceived • Many CEOs believe they need to go it alone – a belief that success is an individual matter – objective data on the present team’s capabilities can help them understand what needs to be done differently or better • It is difficult for the CEO to capture honest information about his performance, and his team’s to make informed decisions about his critical relationships Why review?

  5. 360° @ 180 A review at six months for new CEOs and the ‘top team’ • Do the CEO’s perceptions of their own progress match that of reports and superiors? • Is there a risk of potentially having a miss-fit between the executive, the team, the organisation and values – what more could be done to ensure they all align? • What mechanism can be put in place to provide robust data that will inform the CEO about the way the team are working? • What development could support the CEO and the ‘top team’ in their pursuit of excellence? Critical Reflections

  13. The Coaching House The Coaching House is a boutique executive coaching firm working with leaders in businesses who are striving for sustainable change and professional growth, both in the fact of multiple and complex challenges. Founded in 1991, we continue to help our clients take the corporate and personal journey from demonstrable excellence to become truly exceptional. They run FTSE companies; lead privately owned businesses and chair PE-invested enterprises. Our approach is simple and powerful because it recognises that such leaders often balance competing demands across different areas of their lives, and challenges in one domain will usually be felt in several others. Each of our coaches brings tried and tested coaching methodologies to this complexity, underpinned by over 20 years individual business experience to enable sustainable, rewarding and mutually beneficial growth within the confidential framework of a rigorous, yet highly personal coaching relationship. Our mission is to make business better – one person at a time, which demands that we retain a relentless focus on delivering measurable, clearly-defined results for our clients and the multiple stakeholders to whom they are accountable. We will monitor and discuss progress regularly throughout the lifetime of our work, and conduct a further review six months after completion to ensure that success is consolidated.
