They are also ornamentally used in many places as well. The Palm Family is comprised of about 200 genera and roughly 2,500 species. Most Palms are restricted to Tropical and temperate climates but their range goes from rainforest to deserts. Lodoiceamaldivicaor better known as the Coco de Mer.
