Milwaukee Chapter PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT The Chapter will hold a professional development seminar on April 12, 2005 in the Library at the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The committee is pleased to welcome Grant Thornton, one of the Chapter’s Strategic Sponsors, to present an educational program. This will be an interactive session describing a methodology Grant Thornton calls ASAP, their strategic gap analysis process, which can be used to improve your organization's results. UPCOMING EVENTS Monthly Meeting – April 12, 2005 University Club 924 E. Wells May 10, 2005 – A new member reception is planned for members who joined the Chapter in the last two years. All other members are also welcome to attend. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at the event that will begin at 5:00 p.m.. Please mark your calendars!! The location will be the Marriott West, which is located in Pewaukee at the corner of I-94 and Hwy F (formerly 164), next to the Aurora Clinic and across the street from the American appliance store. May 18-20, 2005 – The FEI Summit 2005 will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Chicago. The featured speaker will be Jeffrey O. Henley, Chairman, Oracle Corporation. Please see: http://www.fei.org/events/conferences/privateco.cfm for details and registration. 5:30 p.m. Social Hour 6:30 p.m. Dinner, Program to Follow Speaker: Nancy Blough, JD, MBA American Health Data Institute Topic: The Fiscally Fit Health Plan Nancy is Executive Vice President of the American Health Data Institute, a subsidiary of the Key Family of Companies. Nancy holds an MBA from Indiana University and attained her JD from the Indiana University School of Law. She joined Key Family in 1998 and has held various positions including President of Employee Benefit Services. Prior to joining Key Family, Nancy served as the Deputy State Health Commissioner for the state of Indiana and held key positions in the Human Resource/Benefits arena at Ford Motor Company. Please invite your Human Resources Manager to the meeting to hear about this timely topic. The guest fee is $40.00.
