  1. Kristan Price Interviewed by: Kristan Price  1st – 6th Periods 

  2. What chore do you absolutely hate doing? • Vacuuming • I am allergic to everything including our 2 dogs and 2 cats • I literally have to wear a gas mask when I vacuum or I will be miserable sneezing and not being able to breath for the rest of the day • I think I am allergic to vacuuming too!

  3. If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be? • Fixing all the stuff that is messed up in our house • Kitchen floor • Front and back decks • Replace Windows • Repainting • Getting rid of the horrible orange and green walls in some rooms • Why would anyone paint a small room DARK CHERRY RED?

  4. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? • Pay off my all our student loans, credit cards, mortgage, and cars • Then, I would buy a vacation club membership at Disney World 

  5. Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? • My mother has suffered unknowingly from a mental illness since I was 11 years old • That was really hard to deal with and I spent a long time being sort of angry about it • But last March, I got a call from my best friend from high school whom I had not spoken to in a very long time • She was diagnosed with the same thing my mom. Because I had learned how to deal with my mom and learned so much about the illness, I was one of the only people in her life that didn’t turn on her • Since then, we have sort of re-connected and talk a lot

  6. What do you miss most about being a kid? • Playing Softball • Traveling to tournaments in Atlanta, Chattanooga, Texas, and Ohio when I was in high school • Pitching in college • There is no place to adults to play fastpitch softball in Americus… or anywhere near here • I hate slow-pitch softball

  7. When was the last time you were nervous? • I locked myself out of my house over the summer… had no hide-a-key… still don’t? • My husband was out of town for the entire week • I had to break an entire window and it took a sledge hammer and pick axe to get back in • I was NERVOUS to find out how much it was going to cost us to fix the window in the back door… $155 

  8. The best part of waking up is? • Getting to RUN before the sun comes up • I USED to run 6 miles every morning before work… now I walk 3  but that’s all I can do

  9. What’s the worst gift you’ve ever received? • My mother-in-law gave me a “moo moo” • Of course, that is not what she called it. She said it was a nightgown that was one-size fits all. She was all excited because she has one and it is SO comfortable • It looked like a satin Snuggie and I have never work it… I put it in a yard sale • Free Gifts • My grandma used to give my cousin and I little ring boxes those free cubic zirconium “diamonds” as little gifts at Christmas… it even had a little tag inside that said “free gift” • We knew they were fake and we always died laughing every time we unwrapped them. • Grandma thought little girls would like “diamonds”

  10. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? • Run a marathon • I think it would be neat, but I never felt like sticking to the training program • I still think it would be really neat to cross the finish line

  11. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? • Something with common spelling • I just go ahead and spell my name anytime someone asks me because I know they will spell it wrong
