  11. Designing Online Learning Higher Education This project provides teachers with tools and support to move to online delivery based on their readiness level. Deliverables include 4 x 30 min TAFE Connects Series sessions A learning design framework with tutorials, tools checklist usable by teachers. Learning sequence templates Linking learning to tools matrix Implementation support : videos to explain how to use the tools; self-assessment rubic to guide teachers to appropriate tools This project supports TAFE NSW higher education (HE) delivery. Deliverables include: set up + configure a central LMS for all TAFE HE delivery Design a Moodle theme with HE branding Design Moodle template with relevant headings and instruction but also customisable by Institutes Design template for all HE course documentations Facilitate the upload of courses in the HE Equella collection TAFE eHub-Institute Communication Pack

Trades and technology Transition/ implementation of Moodle 2, linking to Equella This project provides teachers with a set of resources to help them to develop confidence and skills to deliver elearning for trades Deliverables include A step-by-step guide to designing elearning for trades Learning sequence templates for trades Case studies Support and collaboration via eCommunities forum TAFE Connects on ‘Designing online learning for trades’ This project supports Institutes moving to Moodle 2+ The areas of focus are Moodle administration Capability building – support teachers to work with the changes Learning design in Moodle 2+ templates TAFE eHub-Institute Communication Pack

  13. Using technology to engage students in remote and multi-sites LLN Phase 2 This project supports teachers who are delivering to distance students in multi-sites. Proposed deliverables: Pedagogy for delivering distance students in multi-sites including templates and lesson plans Case studies eCommunities site for facilitating forums and ongoing collaboration. Master class comprising Moodle courses on Adobe Connect, VC+IWB+Bridgit that can be customised by Institutes. Deliverables An LLN Hub Explore the development of an LLN Indicator tool to assess students’ readiness after enrolment TAFE eHub-Institute Communication Pack

LOCO Phase 2 ICT Literacy Phase 2 Expand LOCO functionality Ability to edit multiple documents simultaneously Multiple page HTML resources QTI output for quizzes (LOCO for other LMSs including Sakai) Explore feasibility of creating IMS OTI and or SCORM export from LOCO Explore the feasibility of exporting Moodle courses to generic LMSs Project scope still being finalised This project supports teachers in using digital technology to deliver online training. Extend generic literacy framework to Levels 4-6 Extend self-assessment tool for teachers to include levels 4-6 Adapt self-assessment tool for teachers use with students Curate digital literacy resources mapped to ICT framework Further contributions and discussion via eCommunities TAFE eHub-Institute Communication Pack
