    3. POLIEDROS Un poliedro es un cuerpo geomtrico que esta limitado o compuesto por cuatro o ms polgonos.

    4. ELEMENTOS DE UN POLIEDRO Las caras: son cada uno de los polgonos que forman el poliedro. Las aristas son los segmentos donde coinciden o se unen dos caras. Los vrtices son los puntos donde se unen las aristas. En cada vrtice de un poliedro se juntan tres o ms caras.

    6. Los poliedros se pueden clasificar en cncavos y convexos. Un poliedro es convexo si se puede apoyar en todas sus caras; en caso contrario es cncavo.

    7. TEOREMA DE EULER En todo poliedro convexo se cumple, que el nmero de caras ms el de vrtices, es igual al de aristas ms dos.

    8. POLIEDROS REGULARES Poliedro regular es aquel cuyas caras son todas polgonos regulares iguales.
