  2. Mount Thule – Bylot Island Vi valgte maleriet da vi synes at det var flot og fantasiagtigt på grund af den måde bjergene var tegnet på. Maleriet er malet i 1930 og forestiller nogle bjerge – nærmere bestemt Mount Thule – der spejler sig i en sø. Maleriet er malet i klare linier og bliver holdt i de blå, grå og brune nuancer der glider over i hvide og lyse farver. På trods af at billedet er malet efter den virkelige natur, er billedet meget tegnefilmsagtigt. Diagonaler og vandrette linier går igen i billedet, hvilket skaber et meget roligt billede.

  3. Lawren Harris Født: 23/10-1885 i Brantford, Ontario. Død: 29/01-1970. Lawren Harris var en af de syv medlemmer i Group of Seven. Han studerede kunst i Berlin fra 1904 til 1908, hvorefter han vendte tilbage til Canada hvor han begyndte at male impressionistisk. Art is the beginning of vision, that there is a logic of ecstasy, and that this higher logic is the only one worthy of consideration, that it contains complete corroboration of all the loftiest aspirations of men.  - Lawren Harris
