Abouttheprojectpartners Leading company : MLM d.d. company with a long industrial tradition of non-ferrous metals manufacturer of aluminum die castings for the automotive industry, sanitary fittings Armal, Aklimat aluminum radiators and semi-finished brass products Participating company : Qhar plast d.o.o. works on the development of technical plastic products, tooling and injection molding.

  3. Project description Within this project, we dealt with the issue of health, safety and cost effectiveness in the use of drinking water (bacterial and viral infections, poisoning of chemicals and heavy metals, etc.). The aim of the project was a development of new families of safe and save kitchen and bathroom taps. In addition to the development of new products we have also developed and applied improved technologies of casting, mechanical and surface treatment. Together with the R & D institutions we have developed new nanotechnology and microbiological approaches and applications.

  4. Project results 1. Final results of the project are kitchen and sanitary fittings:- singlelever sink tap,- sink tap with sensor,- singlelever shower tap, - singlelever concealed shower tap. 2. Fittings include systems that significantly improve the chemical and microbiological safety of the user. 3. Within the project VVA has been reported : • 5 innovations • 3 patents • 6 models
