Epicos National Industry Support Project Epicos has developed the National Industry Support Project(NISP) concept which provides domestic Aerospace, Defense & Security industries and in particular SMEs with a wide range of customized online and offline services in order to assist them in developing their capabilities and expand their global market reach. In particular, Epicos supports industries in areas such as: • Mapping and Analysis of the domestic industrial capabilities • Export oriented business support services • International Industrial Cooperation and Technology projects • Global Marketing These services are provided to the local companies at no cost on their behalf for a determined period of time under government approved financing schemes or offset programs as applicable.

NISP in Israel In cooperation with the Impact Technologies, Epicos provides a range of services and tools to up to 100 Israeli A&D companies at no cost on their behalf for a period of three years under an approved offset program by the Industrial Cooperation Authority (RASHPAT). The project objectives are: • Support the international expansion of the Israeli A&D Industry • Facilitate the integration of the Israeli industry into the global A&D supply chain • Provide a global online forumfor the promotion of the Israeli A&D industry

  10. Project services The NISP was initiated in September 2007 and in 2009 was extended for a further three years. The services provided under the Project extension are: • Full Epicos Membership - Account for a company including two user accounts. • Biweekly News Bulletin - A collection of relevant articles and new stories from the international general and sector specific press. • Business Information Centre - Extended Information HTML pages in the Business Directory section plus products and services classification. • Business Support - Including on-line & off-line basic support and assistance to participant companies.

Project services (continued) • Upgraded Israeli Industry Portal - Industry promotion through comprehensive coverage of Israeli technology, companies, products and related news within a customized collaboration environment. • Company Promotion - Advertising Campaign Banners plus Posting of up to 2 Offset projects in Database of Offset / Subcontracting projects or Posting of Manufacturing Capabilities / Know How for the duration of the project. • Impact Report - A customized report to be received by all participating companies including targeted tender and procurement opportunities from around the world.

Industrial Cooperation & Offsets (ICO) Team • Epicos has assembled a team of A&D engineers with extended industrial experience to: • Develop an Industry capability mapping; • In close collaboration with the industry identify potential Investment, Technology Transfer, collaboration and outsourcing opportunities that can be developed either directly or through customized Industrial Cooperation and Offset projects; • Assist companies to establish potential partnerships that will enable technology exchange, product development and market expansion; • Assist Prime Contractors to exchange ideas for collaboration with Local A&D Industry.

Projects can be developed and structured with the assistance of Epicos in order to target specific needs/sector/prime contractor or be in line with offset rules at a targeted country; • Search for available requests for collaboration posted by prime contractors; • View status of posted projects by all users of the organization.
