Citizenship in schoolschapter 14 Section 1 • Education is important for two main reasons • Education helps individual citizens grow • Builds a strong country • There are many levels of schools starting from preschool all the way up to High school. The higher education is more like Community College, Colleges and Universities • Public schools are facing many challenges which are not having enough money, not enough staff, and too much violence. • Education is a huge part of this world because without education people wouldn’t know how be take care of their communities and neighborhoods.

Why is education important ? • Education is important because it builds a strong country and helps individual citizens grow. • What are the levels of the U.S school system ? • The levels of the U.S school system are preschool up to Universities. 3.People are not responsible for what goes on in their neighborhood and communities ? • This is incorrect, people are responsible for what goes on in their neighborhoods and communities, one purpose of education is to teach citizens how to use their skills to helps others in our world.

Being prepared for school , keeping a schedule and extracurricular activities can help you be successful in school. Being prepared and keeping a schedule can help you by reducing stress and anxiety from not keeping up with things. Extracurricular activities help you learn new things or improve what you already know. • Educations goals Their goals are to teach you how to become an active citizen.

Citizenship in schoolschapter 14section 3 • Experiences and Learning relate because if you don’t experience then you never learn . • The most important skill we learn is thinking, well critical thinking is another way of thinking, it involves several steps those steps are Defining the Issues, Distinguishing Fact from opinion, Weighing the Evidence, & Reaching a Conclusion • One of the key life skills you learn in school should be learning how to think. If you learn how to think you will be able to solve many problems faced everyday.
