  2. October/November Activities • Dues are $30. Seniors dues and stole are $55. • Points sheets need to be submitted for the fall semester in December. Please keep track of all projects. • Non attendance at meetings means points are deducted. -1 point per meeting. • New hour requirements for new inductees 40 hours. 1 point=1 hour. • Donut sales are OVER and DONE. YAY!Seniors sell 32 boxes to pay for dues and stole.Sell 20 boxes to pay for all dues for underclassmen. All members must sell 5 boxes or pay $25.Your $25 will be added to dues/fees for NHS.To receive credit for payment of dues you must have sold the FULL AMOUNT. No partial credit for dues/boxes sold.

  3. Upcoming Service Projects & Meetings • Mentors needed at Bill Arp Elem Thurs morning from 7:45-8:15. Sign up today and you’ll receive training before you begin. • Wrestling Tournament Saturday Nov 16th 7 am-4 pm • Relay for Life luncheon Oct 30th. This is our HALF DAY & we need desserts/drinks. Sign up today! • Math Tutor needed. See Mrs Cochran to sign up. • November meetings 7th and 21st.

Fall Festivals Points Update1point=1 hour of service. • Fall Festival Winston Oct 25th 4-9 • Fall Festival Bill Arp Oct 25th 4-8 • Fall Festival Dorsett Shoals Nov 1st 5-9 • Members inducted before 2013 must have 30 points prior to graduation. Underclassmen inducted 2013-forward must have 40 points prior to graduation. • Seniors inducted in 2013 must have 15 points prior to graduation in 2014.

Please read what has already been signed up for so we do not duplicate items. Gifts and money will have to be submitted by December 2nd.

  6. Service Awards • Students in grades 5–12 who have volunteered in the community in the past 12 months are eligible to apply for a 2014 Prudential Spirit of Community Award. The online application is open through November 5, 2013 and may be found at spirit.prudential.com or www.nassp.org/spirit. Paper applications are also available by calling 877-525-8491.
