Other influences Imported products such as coffee, chocolate, avocados, mangoes, bananas, etc. Political influences (legal citizens can vote- many people have immigrant parents but are born in the US and are considered legal) Economic influences- Not so much “stealing” jobs, but rather doing the ones that many Americans don’t want to do. Our economy is supporting other economies. Companies hired illegal workers for half the price and no benefits. Sports –( baseball and soccer) Many players are from DR, Venezuela, Cuba and PR.
