  2. For your planning • WHEN? September 14 to 20 (2nd last week Term 3) • WHAT? Principles of Catholic social teaching • WHY? These principles help to guide us in our choices and support us in solving many life challenges. They are central to our understanding of faith in action. They underpin how we SEE JUDGE ACT

  3. Principles we will highlight Human dignity. Preferential protection of the poor. Solidarity. Stewardship. Participation. Subsidiarity. Common good.

  4. Material resources for schools Set of 7 posters. Brochure with basic explanation. Book for Y1-6 with simple text and photos. Set of cards for Y7-10 for small group activity. Prayers for Y9-13 for whanau/team/class time. Website support including 7 videos. Suggestions for staff meetings of either (20min or 45min) Planning for the mailout to reach schools by 25 July.

  5. Formation for staff We will offer cluster meetings for teachers to introduce the materials, share ideas and answer questions. (Aug – Sept) School /class visits (Sept – Nov) Parish opportunities.
