  2. Drawing One and Two • Draw the forces on a pool ball sitting at rest on a pool table. • Draw the forces on a pool ball as it is struck by a cue stick while sitting on the table.

  3. Drawing Three, Four, and Five Draw the forces on: 3) A Car driving at a constant speed down the freeway. 4) A police car accelerating to chase a car. 5) A car decelerating when he sees the lights in his mirror.

  4. Drawing Six and Seven Draw the forces on: 6) A man being pulled off the ground by an enormous helium filled balloon on a windless day. 7) A man being pulled off the ground by an enormous balloon with a strong wind blowing from behind.

  5. Drawing 8 and 9 Draw the forces on: 8) An airplane accelerating forward during takeoff. 9) A plane moving forward and upward at a constant speed.

  6. Drawings 10, 11, and 12 Draw the forces on: 10) A car being towed at a constant speed. 11) A tow truck accelerating while pulling a car 12) A tow truck coming to a stop while pulling a car.
