  2. What is Handball?

  3. Purpose • To assess the students on the proper technique of a lob pass • The lob pass is a commonly used pass in team handball Properly executed lob pass

Assessment SUmmary • Expectations: • In the Process portion of the test, we expected the students to earn a perfect score • In the Product section, we expected varying results overall from the students • Trials: • Students were give 2 attempts with the best of the 2 attempts being their recorded grade • Students were graded on whether or not their form/technique was correct

  7. Equipment Adaptations • In order to perform this test in a realistic class setting (e.g. 30 students), there would need to be: • 5 courses (4 practice areas, 1 test field) • 3 cones per course • 1 ball to 2 students

  9. assessment issues • We felt that the test may have been too easy • There was confusion on the part of the students as to what exactly was being assessed (passing technique versus completion of the pass)

  10. Future modifications • Increase the level of difficulty of the assessment • Make objective of assessment more clear
