Thang Long 1000 year anniversary • In the year of 1010 Ly Cong Uan-one of VN King decided to move capital from Thanh Hoa province to Thang Long (now called : Hanoi) • Up to now ~ 1000year This year Vietnam will organize great ceremony of Thang Long - Hanoi foundation. • This is very big ceremony (fr. 1st 10th October.) • 1st & 10th Oct will be the main days, especially 10th Oct. • There will be many events during this period & also traffic will be affected so much.

Traffic affected in Hanoi: Banned Routes in 3rd, 7th ,9th and 10th Oct Closed roads: • On 3rd, 7th, 9th to 10th (on 3rd & 7th Oct : cannot know exact time of road being banned, from 08:00pm on 9th to 12:00am on 10th) strictly banned routes ( except priority vehicles): Hung Vuong- Hoang Van Thu- Chua Mot Cot-Doc Lap-Ong Ich Khiem-Ba Huyen Thanh Quan-Ton That Dam-Nguyen Canh Chan-Bac Son-Mai Xuan Thuong- Le Hong Phong-Thanh Nien-Hoang Hoa Tham-Thuy Khue-Phan Dinh Phung- Dien Bien Phu-Chu Van An, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Trang Thi-Hang Khay-Trang Tien-Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nguyen Chi Thanh (From La Thanh to Kim Ma), Yen Phu, Botanic Garden. • All trucks and buses from 26 seats above will be banned on: Tran Phu, Tay Son, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Cat Linh, Ton Duc Thang, Le Duan, Hang Gai, Hang Bong, Hai Ba Trung, Lac Long Quan, Thuy Khue, Buoi, Hoang Hoa Tham, Kim Ma, Le Duan, Pha Chu Trinh, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Nhat Duat, Hang Dau, Phan Dinh Phung, Hang Than, Lang, Truong Chinh, Dai La.

Trucks and buses from 26seats above are banned (3rd,7th,9th,10th of October) Banned roads for trucks and buses Banned roads for truck and buses: Tran Phu – Son Tay – Nguyen Tri Phuong, Cat Linh – Ton Duc Thang – Le Duan; Hang gai-Hang bong-Hai bai trung; Lac Long quan-Thuy khue-Buoi-Hoang Hoa Tham-Kim ma; Le Duan – Phan Chu Trinh – Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Nhat Duat – Hang Dau – Phan Dinh Phung- Hang Than, Lang – Truong Trinh- Dai La.

  13. Problems & countermeasures • Affected to cars picking up Expatriates daily • Affected to shuttle buses picking up Assoc. daily • Affected to Local Mgrs. • Trucks for delivery MC to Heads - Find another route for Expatriates’s cars & HVN shuttle buses - Consider the time for picking up

Adm. share information of roads banned to all drivers ( Expatriate’s dirvers & shuttle buses drivers • Adm. send road banned information to all Local Mgrs in order Mgrs can find other suitable route. • Adm. send road banned information to Logistic 4R & 2R & Purchasing depts. to inform to transporters & suppliers in order not effect to HVN operation Adm. recommend : Thank you
