  2. LIST OF ELECTIVES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Auto Mechanics* Garage Band* Wood shop* Journalism* Robotics Cooking* *Drivers Ed* Glee club* Outdoors Club* Theater* Life skills* Self Defense* Cosmetology* Radio Station* Music/Dance Club* WHAT DO YOU WANT ?

  3. Why do we want electives ? • They give students more opportunity • Gain experience for a possible future career • More incentives • Provides a more fun environment and learning experience • Gives students the opportunity to be a part of team with out being on a team

  4. Funding • Make a mini school candy store and sell candy to students and save up all that money for a year. • Host events like talent shows or students vs. teachers day and charge student 5 dollars and parents 8 dollars and if you want to invite some one outside of school who isn't a relative charge them 10 dollars • Make a donation jar saying will you be kind and donate to us to help get more and better school electives and have it at the front desk • Do raffles and have good prizes like iPods or cell phones that will make students and teachers will want to by the raffle tickets

  5. Location We have a lot of space here ! • The Bear room • Teachers rooms at the end of the day set up stations in different rooms • We can also set up stations in both the little gym and the big gym

  6. Qualified Instructors • Ask teachers if they’re willing to stay after school and run some of the electives in the school • Hire some young adults who are qualified to run or volunteer to participate in electives held at the school

  7. Supplies • We are in a school so we might already have most of the supplies , but if we don’t have enough supplies we can use the money we’ve raised to buy more supplies

  8. Getting Support • We can try to get in touch with some big names who know some big names . • We can advertise by making : flyers , websites , videos , surveys , Facebook , Twitter , YouTube , Blog , etc

  9. Challenges we might face • To every road to success there is a detour one of the things you got to do to make this work is you got to want it ! and you got to make your self heard just like that guy who came up to our school I believe his name was Kevin Wayne Thomas he said you cant be heard if your whispering you got to stand up and speak up to be heard
