  4. Snoezelen Visor/Helmet • Helmet • Plexiglas visor with etchings • Headphones with mp3 player • Audio and visual stimuli

  5. Tactile Panel • An interactive panel design to stimulate senses in an entertaining fashion. • Touch sensor • LEDs • Vibrating motor • Speakers

  6. “Disco ball/lamp” • A tube with colored filtered filters and a central light source to project light. • Rotating central tube to move light filters. • Rotating hemisphere on top to project light onto the ceiling. • Speaker base to play soothing music.

  7. Final Decision“Disco Ball”/Lamp • Costs about as much as the other two options • More durable • More feasible to build within our timeframe • Similar to existing Snoezelen rooms • Brings Snoezelen room to the client’s house • Not within proximity to cause danger during use • No user input, so easy to use
