  2. Transnational programme „IdA“ • „IdA – Integration durch Austausch“ • Implementation: as of 2008 by the Technical Assistance in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs • ESF funding: € 150 million

  3. Objectivesand activities (1) • Additional value based on joint development, testing and implementation of concepts, approaches, methods and materials, being tested in model projects in co-operation with transnational partners • Use of experiences and ideas from various countries for studies, handbooks and guidelines, education materials, websites and interactive CD‘s and films

  4. Objectivesand activities (2) • Transnational exchange and meetings among disadvantaged young people (particularly those with an immigration background) in order to increase their possibilities in the labour market • More intensive mainstreaming by including the Management Authorities and relevant labour market actors in the transnational co-operation (among others by means of transnational study visits, model projects and qualification projects)

  5. Thematic emphases • Business creation • Vocational integration of migrants • Vocational integration of offenders • Age management/LLL • Asylum seekers • Victims of human trafficking

  6. Target groups • Young people/young adults, in particular without a school-leaving qualification and with an immigration background • Young people transiting from school to work, with a difficult access to the education, training or labour market • Older workers • Offenders • Employees of enterprises • Asylum seekers and victims of human trafficking • Disseminators, labour market actors and social partners
