Peer Support Programme: Guiding First-Year Students at REAP

The Peer Support Programme (PSP) at REAP aims to provide first-year students with a peer buddy who can offer support, guidance, and act as a role model. Peer buddies are equipped with leadership and communication skills to encourage optimal functioning and smooth transitioning to university. They assist in making use of university services, exploring opportunities, and navigating campus resources. The program relies on senior students with good academic standing, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of available resources. Peer buddies receive training and ongoing support, and are recognized through benefits and incentives.
