  2. Abstract • The purpose of this project is to implement a program that provides: • 1) positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. • 2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

  3. Evidence of Need • Currently Meyer Elementary does not have a program to include positive male role models in place. The program invites fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other father figures to volunteer at least one day all day at their child’s/student's school during the school year. With the make up of our demographics there is a need for positive male role models to be present in our school to encourage positive behavior and positive role models. Watch dogs will make the school a safe positive enviornment

  4. Continuous Improvement Process Planning Tool • Goal:

  5. Evaluation • End of the day survey for all participants stating how their day went • (did they meet with school representative for orientation meeting, schedule was given, highlight of the day) • Evaluation form from school administrators and teachers stating how they would rate the effectiveness of the program and its volunteers • Performance of students since the program has been implemented (grades, behavior, attitude • Evaluation form given to students for them to rate the program
