  4. Nursing Orders – Your Future Life • Nursing Orders need to be built for the tasks you would normally would enter in your kardex. • You do not interface nursing orders so that makes it easier to setup and gives you more flexibility • Will need to build nursing frequencies • Consider building appropriate groups

  6. Nursing Orders in Care Organizer

  7. Sorting and Filters • You can sort by the above list • You can also setup and filter in or out the groups you want to include to be seen in Care Organizer

  8. Chart and Smart Link • Chart Link • Definition: The linking of order occurrences with the appropriate charting screen or class. • Smart Link • Definition: Smart Link is more of a process that a single application. It allows the end user to click on an order occurrence in Care Organizer which causes a CRv (HED Chartable Review) to launch for the end user to document current charting.

  9. Smarter Link • Smarter Link • Definition: This is an enhancement to the Smart Link functionality. Once setup, if the user charts against a predefined number of results within a charting session, then saves and exits, the complete box will launch with the appropriate order occurrences pre-selected if the documentation time is within the error_tm window for those order occurrences.
