  8. A man leaves his father and mother SELF DIFFERENTIATION CREATION OF NEW FAMILY NEW PRIORITIES

  9. And is united to his wife GLUED OR WELDED TOGETHER… STRONGER TOGETHER THAN AS INDIVIDUALS…

  10. And they become one flesh Physically…. Emotionally… Spiritually… DNA transfer to children????

  11. SIXTH COMMANDMENT You shall not commit adultery Sex outside of “covenant” or “contract”

  16. Cultural Change Very difficult to discern where our culture diverges from tradition… or from Scripture.

  19. Faith Matters Contract: Christ and His Bride Consummation: being one with Him Celebration: Marriage Feast of the Lamb (heaven)

  20. Covenant: Christ and His Bride “Covenant” 332 times in Bible “My people” 223 times

  21. Consummation Revelation 19 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

  22. Consummation: being one with Him John 17:20 “I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.

  23. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—

  24. 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

  25. Celebration: Marriage Feast of the Lamb Revelation 19 9And the angel saidto me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
