LOG 101 Course Description • “Acquisition Logistics Fundamentals provides a broad overview of the role of acquisition logistics in the systems acquisition life cycle and systems engineering processes. Modules cover the logistics-relevant aspects of requirements identification, life-cycle costing, integrated product and process development, sustainment logistics, supportability analysis, product support, contracting, and contractor support.” –DAU iCatalog • “New” 101 initially deployed in July, 2010 • Contains 7 lessons, estimated at 30 hours to complete • Instituted “no reset” in LOG curriculum with this course • Past history indicates high demand…#1 most popular LOG course (usually), #3 overall at DAU • . LOG 101 is the “gateway” course to DAU LCL training – First Impressions!

LOG 101(V9) Graduation RatesUnder “No Reset” • 6 Sections open, 863 students currently enrolled (as of 24 September) • 754 successful completions as of 24 September • “No Reset” implemented 19 July 2010 with Version 9 • Current successful completion rate is 85.7% • Failure Rate is 8.6% • Average Time to Complete declined from Version 8 to Version 9 • Version 8: 29.31 days • Version 9: 18.52 days • Unsolicited student feedback: “I think this is the best course I have taken at DAU.”
