  2. Costruito intorno alla metà del sec. XI, era utilizzato dagli abitanti dipendenti dalla pieve di Oxila dei SS. Gervasio e Protasio, era officiato dallo stesso sacerdote che aveva cura d’anime a Seppiana. Un documento del 1333 dell’Archivio di Oscellana del Collegio Mellerio Rosmini di Domodossola cita per la prima volta la chiesa di S. Maurizio. Nei secoli XV e XVI la chiesa fu abbandonata. Nel 1591 viene ricordata nel sinodo del vescovo Speciano di Novara come “Oratorium Devotionis Sancti Mauritii”. Venne ristrutturato nel 1630 ma subito abbandonato se già il vescovo Tornelli nel 1642 ordinò che venisse rinnovato. Ma la nuova volta non si rivelò abbastanza robusta e crollò. Nel 1790 la chiesa era del tutto diroccata.
