Mark 11:22-25right after Jesus cursed fig tree and it died • 22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, “May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,” and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” • 2

  6. Middle part of WITS • We are called to: • Love Him enough to: • Let go of our old carnal minds • Die to self • Discipline fleshly lusts • Submit to God & others • Fight & win over the enemy • Our Lord accomplishes this in us as we allow Him full control of our lives 6

  7. Final part of WITS • We are to demonstrate: • Sincere faith & power • We are to emulate Christ’s lifestyle • & His miracle works • We are to be knowledgeable & willing • Jesus promises to do His works through us when we focus on Him & listen for His voice • 7

  8. Each Lesson • Calls us to: • Give up natural for supernatural • Understand Christ’s heart, mind & performance and do likewise • Shows that our Lord is with us always to guide, direct, comfort & strengthen us for the tasks He created for us. 8

Psa. 119:147, 27:4 119:147 I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word. 27:4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple. 18
