LITERACY/ENTERPRISE SKILLS Project Overview Learning Areas Levels P1 (but can be adapted for any stage) Objectives To encourage creativity and enterprise within a literacy framework Description The challenge is to write a very short story using all the items found in the bag. Story will be written down and team will be asked to tell it to a judge who will pick a ‘Winning Story’. This will be put on to a computer and made into a mini slideshow.   4. Assessment and Standards No official assessment was part of this challenge although the winning story could be deemed to have been assessed. Pupils could do this activity on more than one occasion thereby allowing the teacher to monitor/assess any progress made. Progression could be monitored through the complexity of the challenge – ie more difficult objects to link; photographs to be used to create a story, etc.
